The Minis section at Cascade YC is truly something special, with every age group represented from Tots right through to U11s. With over 150 children now taking part and numbers continuing to grow, it's clear that we're creating an environment where young players want to be.

In these early stages, we place huge emphasis on helping players build strong bonds with their teammates and coaches. Football is as much about friendships and belonging as it is about what happens on the pitch, and we're proud of the community spirit that runs through our Minis section.

Our focus is on getting the basics right. From the youngest age groups, we concentrate on the fundamental skills: passing, moving, and ball control. These are the building blocks that every good player needs, and by mastering them early, our children develop the confidence to express themselves on the pitch.

As players progress into the U10s, we naturally begin to introduce a greater focus on positions and different styles of play. By this stage, the solid foundation we've built means children are ready to understand more tactical aspects of the game whilst still enjoying their football.

The growth we're seeing in our Minis section is testament to the quality of coaching, the welcoming atmosphere, and most importantly, the smiles on the faces of every child who pulls on a Cascade YC shirt.
